Apex Valuation’s exclusive focus is providing independent, well-reasoned and well-supported opinions of value of interests in private companies and investment entities. We provide independent business valuation services in the Denver metropolitan area, throughout the state of Colorado and nationwide. We conduct business appraisals for a variety of purposes, including business purchases and sales, shareholder disputes, marital dissolutions, financial reporting, and estate, gift and income tax activities. Our clients range from early-stage, venture-capital funded companies to Main Street family-owned businesses to large, established companies with hundreds of millions in annual revenue.
About Bryan DesMarteau, JD, CBA, ASA
Bryan DesMarteau is the Managing Member of Apex Valuation Consulting LLC. He has specialized in the appraisal of interests in privately-held businesses since 1998. Mr. DesMarteau’s professional credentials include the Accredited Senior Appraiser (in business valuation) designation (ASA), granted by the American Society of Appraisers, and the Certified Business Appraiser (CBA) designation, conferred by the Institute of Business Appraisers. Individuals earn these designations only after demonstrating high levels of valuation training and experience, and by proving their competence through a rigorous peer review process.
Although he is not actively engaged in the practice of law, Mr. DesMarteau is a licensed attorney and member of the Colorado Bar Association. His prior experience includes leading the business valuation practice of a national financial consulting boutique. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (in Finance) from the University of Denver and a Juris Doctor from the Creighton University School of Law.
